What is the Maine Senior Farm Shares Program?
The Maine Senior Farm Shares Program is a statewide initiative aimed at providing seniors with access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. It operates in collaboration with farms like ours, ensuring that seniors can enjoy nutritious produce while supporting local agriculture. By signing up, you’ll receive $50 worth of free locally grown fruits and vegetables over the harvest season.
How to Sign Up:
To sign up for the Maine Senior Farm Shares program at Rime Farm, visit our website. Here, you’ll find all the details necessary to enroll in the program and start receiving your $50 in fresh produce.
2024 pick-up locations and times:
Calais Farmers Market: Tuesdays, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Lubec Farmers Market: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Rime Farm: Sundays, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
